It's almost time for the FREE 9th annual Cane Bay 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Palmetto Walk!!! The free event will be held at the Palmetto Walk pavilion on the 4th from 7-10pm. More details to come as we get closer to the date, but plan now to attend what will be the greatest show in the county.As is always the case, people will be setting off fireworks for many days around the 4th. There will be some great backyard displays, some great community shows. What the Palmetto Walk show offers is a cross between fireworks and art, with the entire show being painstakingly hand-scripted to music. You won't be disappointed by this unique and entertaining experience for spectators of all ages.
Last year we had several hundred people come to the event, and everyone we spoke to said it was one of the best shows they have ever seen. This year we are going bigger! Over 450 hours of work will go into selecting specific fireworks and effects, timing every shot to music tracks, platform and rack construction, and finally hand wiring hundreds of individual fuses to fire in specific order at specific times with the music.
