Kids Yoga on the Deck Series at The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge is back in action! Get your tiny tots ready for an experience that nourishes the mind, body, and soul through incredible physical movement and mindful practices. From improving balance and endurance to strengthening focus and self-esteem from within, yoga is a fun and playful way for kids to develop body awareness and learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way. By practicing calming techniques, coordination skills, patience and focus these fun, challenging, and inspiring movements will fill your kiddos with joy.

Kids Yoga on the Deck welcomes children ages 3 to 12 to come out for a free 90-minute session held the first Thursday of every month (April through September) at 10:00 a.m. Each event engages kids with an exciting new theme and activity, such as meditation, dance, and story time. Kids will have the opportunity to partake in physical and mental practices that enhance compassion, gratitude, and strength in a fun way allowing them to release their built up energy!

Classes are led by renowned yoga practitioner Alicia “ACE” Easter, the founder of ACE Yoga LA and @kidsyogawithace, featured in outlets including Yoga Journal, Essence and Women’s Health. ACE believes in making meditation and movement interactive for the kids, starting each session with a dance to bring lightness, laughter, and fun.

Make 2023 a year of meditation and play for your kids at The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge, the Valley’s new oasis for shopping, dining, and wellness. Kids Yoga on the Deck sessions are free to attend when you RSVP in advance. Please note, families must bring their own yoga mat, blanket, or towel for the session.
