Join us for a Great Gatsby-themed murder mystery party to support the Medical Scholarship Fund of Monroe County.This costume party will be held at the iconic Academy of Medicine on Saturday, October 26th. Doors open at 6:30pm and the mystery starts a 7pm. Don't have a 1920's costume yet, no worries check out this link to an Amazon store that specializes in this era of dress.
Your ticket will include a murder mystery host, cocktail, and light appetizers. We will have silent auction items available and a prize for best dressed. This exciting event is sure to make your Halloween truly memorable!
Murder Mystery Backstory
The guests are a mixed group of club staff members, entertainers, and guests at a private party held at a jazz club in 1920’s New York City. It is the height of the Jazz Age, and social revolution is afoot. This is the age of Prohibition and of bootleggers and gangsters. It is a night of revelry like many other nights of revelry enjoyed by this group of sophisticates, artists and hoodlums…until things go horribly wrong.
