What is the 10 Plus Easter Course?

The 10+ Easter Course is an inspiring and enjoyable 4 day course designed to build confidence and knowledge in the imperative subjects needed to pass the 10+ exams: Mathematics, creative writing, comprehension, non verbal reasoning and verbal reasoning. Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning so students can truly achieve mastery in the subjects. In addition, we will be helping children implement vital exam techniques so they can boost their scores in exam situations.

This course is suitable for children in Year 3 or Year 4 preparing for both independent schools and grammar schools in and around London. We have successfully prepared over 800 children over the past 12 years for schools such as: Dulwich College, Emanuel School, City of London School, Kingston Grammar and much more…

How is our course structured?

The Easter Course is a 4 day course running from Monday to Thursday with 4 hours of instruction per day. It is managed by our course instructors who possess over 20 years of experience in exam preparation collectively. The first two days of the course (Monday and Tuesday) are dedicated to mathematics. The last two days of the course (Wednesday and Thursday) focuses on comprehension and creative writing. Lessons are in small groups of maximum 4 per tutor. All classwork, homework, mock exams, assessments, online practice questions/assessments are included.

Mock exams take place at the beginning and end of the course, enabling you to see where your child is at the outset, and then gain insight as to how they progressed throughout the course. It also allows us to pinpoint any of your child’s sticking points, as well as their general strengths/weaknesses, so we can best provide help in reaching their potential.

These intensive courses are perfect for making the most of your child’s Easter holidays, especially as so many students have missed out in schooling over the past few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the intensive tuition, the class environment and lesson structure is built to be fun and engaging. This means that your child will be happy to learn, and more often than not, leave with a smile on their face and some new friends.

(Parents will receive a full timetable a week before the course start date)

You can book for the full 4 days, or you can opt to book 2 days of Maths/2 days of English.

The 10 Plus Easter Intensive Course caters for children in year 4. Whether your child has been preparing for several years or several days, we welcome all children to join the course no matter what stage of the entrance exam journey they are at.

To ensure children receive maximum benefit, children will be grouped according to ability and year group. This course is recommended for students in Year 5 preparing for either independent school or grammar school 10+ entrance exams

Where and when are our classes held?

Location: ONLINE

Date: Monday 3rd April – Thursday 6th April 2023

Time: 4 hourly lessons between 10am and 4pm

Price: £715 for all 4 days or £380 for 2 days (2 days Maths or 2 days English)
